Japan Baseball Pro (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Japan Baseball Pro mobile application (ジャパン野球 プロ).
1. Information We Collect
The App is designed with privacy in mind:
- Data stored on your device: Statistics you enter for calculations, language preference, recently used calculators, optional saved input values, and onboarding status are stored locally on your device (e.g., via device storage). We do not collect or store this data on our servers.
- No account required: You can use the App without creating an account. We do not collect personal identifiers such as email addresses unless you contact us voluntarily.
- No scorebook cloud sync: The App performs calculations on your device only. We do not upload your entered stats to our servers.
2. How We Use Information
Because your data stays on your device, we do not use your statistics for analytics, advertising, or marketing. Calculation results are generated locally and are not transmitted to us.
If we add optional online features in the future (such as cloud backup), we will update this policy and request your consent before collecting or processing data for those purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
The App may rely on third-party services for distribution, updates, or crash reporting. Those services have their own privacy policies. Examples may include:
- Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) for app distribution and update-related data
- Expo / development tools, if used for builds or optional diagnostics
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored by the App remains on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. We do not retain copies of your local data on our servers.
You can clear saved inputs from within each calculator screen using the clear function, or remove all App data through your device settings.
5. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed by the App. Because your data is stored locally, you are responsible for securing your device (e.g., using a lock screen and keeping your operating system updated).
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to address it.
7. International Users
The App supports Japanese and English interfaces. Regardless of your location, our practices described here apply to your use of the App.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
