Welcome to Japan Baseball Pro (ジャパン野球 プロ). By downloading, installing, or using the Japan Baseball Pro application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable laws and regulations.
2. Description of Service
Japan Baseball Pro is a mobile application that provides baseball statistics calculators based on NPB-style formulas (e.g., batting average, on-base percentage, ERA, OPS, WHIP, fielding percentage, and related metrics). The App is a calculation tool only; it does not guarantee official league records or eligibility determinations.
You do not need to register or create an account. Data you enter is stored locally on your device unless you choose to clear it. We may update the App or these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. Use of the App
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Rely on the App as the sole basis for contractual, legal, or official statistical decisions without independent verification
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by law
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or related services
4. Accuracy and Disclaimer
We strive to implement commonly accepted NPB-style formulas, but we do not warrant that any calculation is error-free or matches every official league or media presentation. You are responsible for verifying results for your intended use. The App is provided for convenience and educational purposes.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Japan Baseball Pro (or its licensors) and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.
6. Data and Local Storage
Data you enter in the App is stored on your device. You are responsible for backing up or preserving data you care about. We are not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, uninstallation, or clearing app storage. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for how we handle information.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Japan Baseball Pro and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the App or inability to use the App.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the last update on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
